Funding

The NEWEST-CCUS project, EC Grant Agreement no. 691712, is co-funded by the European Union’s ERA-NET Accelerating CCS Technologies (ACT2) initiative, which supports the delivery of safe and cost-effective carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS). The governments of each participating country have also contributed funding through the ACT2 initiative.

European Commission

ERA-NET ACT is a tool established by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 financial instrument, aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness. The work undertaken in LAUNCH will fulfil the objectives of ACT’s call for CCUS by improving and accelerating the implementation of CO2 capture materials and strategies across industry.
